Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Team Leader with a strong background in SharePoint development to lead our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of SharePoint developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and guiding the team through all stages of the development lifecycle. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- SharePoint Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019.
- Implement best practices for SharePoint architecture, security, and performance.
- Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites and applications.
- Customize SharePoint site collections, sites, lists, libraries, content types, workflows, and forms.
- Design and implement SharePoint-based solutions using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and other tools.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality and performance of SharePoint solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SharePoint trends, tools, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Automate business processes and workflows within SharePoint.
- Implement data synchronization and authentication mechanisms.
- SPFX (SharePoint Framework):
- Develop and deploy SPFX web parts, extensions, and customizations.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and responsive SharePoint components.
- Front-End Development:
- Develop user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap.
- Ensure consistent branding and responsive design across SharePoint sites.
- Back-End Development:
- Build robust server-side applications and services using SharePoint REST APIs.
- Optimize performance and scalability of custom SharePoint solutions.
- Integration:
- Integrate SharePoint solutions with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, OneDrive) and third-party systems.
- Implement data synchronization and authentication mechanisms.
- Integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications as needed.
- Power Platforms:
- Create and manage solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate (Flow).
- Design and implement custom workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer.
- Streamline business processes and approvals.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.
- Version Control:
- Utilize Git for version control to manage codebase changes and facilitate collaboration.
- Customer Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues, providing support and maintenance for SharePoint environments.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SharePoint developers.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and track the performance of team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and SharePoint Designer.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
- Understanding of SharePoint architecture, site structure, and best practices for design and development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft SharePoint certification (e.g., MS-300, MS-301).
- Experience with Nintex workflows, K2, or other workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Lead and mentor a team member, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.
- Manage and prioritize the team’s workload and task assignments.

- Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to Kochi, Kerala, if not currently residing in the area.
